York

went out to York yesterday... the trip was organized by the taiwanese society but somehow...i was allowed to go...hehe..... the place was beautiful with UK's largest cathedral which we have to pay 7 pounds to visit the whole building... tat's y i stayed outside.... the cathedral was of gothic style while surrounding the city centre and within the city center were walls build by the romans.. we r allowed to walked on the walls....quite cool huh... another thing we visited was the famous Betty's tea house... the tea house was around since 1919...12 years more to a hundred years... spend like 10pounds in the shop juz drinking a cup of coffee(3.15) and a sundae(5.95)...the sundae was delicious n satisfying but the tea was killing me...mayb coz i dun really like english tea...to those who like teh tarik... this is worth a try... the place was cozy n beautiful and it is a place worth spending the afternoon (esp when it is less then 10 celcius outside)... i actually missed the bus to the designer's outlet where designer shops or branded shops (GAP, CK...)are located....the prices are much cheaper then the usual ones since it is an outlet.... but i dun really care since i dun shop much n can't afford to shop there... pics below...enjoy..
